Free cancellation if your flight is cancelled

Because unforeseen events are part of any trip, at Europcar we have created a guarantee designed to provide you with maximum peace of mind.

👉 If your flight is cancelled, you can cancel your rental at no cost and receive a 100% refund of the prepaid amount. This condition applies even to non-refundable rates (such as the Light Package), without the application of the standard 48-hour cancellation fee.

👉 This guarantee applies to bookings made directly at europcar.com for rentals in Spain and Portugal, provided that the flight cancellation is the responsibility of the airline.

👉 To benefit from this option, you must cancel your reservation at least 2 hours prior to the scheduled pick-up time. Additionally, you must send proof of the flight cancellation (digital copy or screenshot) to our Customer Service Department via our website or to the email apoio.clientes@europcar.com or es_customerservice@europcar.com within a maximum period of 1 month.

👉 In case of a no-show without prior notice, the standard terms and conditions currently in force will apply.

👉 Valid only until October 31, 2026.
