Driving a sustainable path
Europcar Mobility Group joined the “Science-Based Targets” initiative in 2019. This initiative has approved Europcar carbon reduction targets (direct emissions -46.2%, indirect emissions -27.5% by 2030 from a 2019 base year).
This ambition is supported by a plan focusing on fleet electrification targeting 20% of green vehicles (less than 50 g CO2/km) by the end of 2024.
Funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU
As part of the German Aufbau- und Resilienzplan (DARP) and with the support of NextGenerationEU from the European Union, a portion of the electric vehicles in our fleet received funding. These funded vehicles are an integral part of our strategy to make e-mobility an everyday experience and actively shape the transition towards sustainable mobility.
