What documents do I need to present at the Europcar counter when I pick up my vehicle?

To successfully pick up your rental vehicle, you’ll need to bring the following documents:

1. Your Driving Licence

• Digital versions are not accepted in most countries
• If you travel abroad, an international driving license may be required.

2. Photographic Identification

• You’ll need a passport or national identity card as additional identification.

3. Proof of Address

• In some specific countries, a utility bill or bank statement dated within the last three months, showing the same address as your driving licence can be requested

4. A Valid Credit Card

• The credit card must expire after the return date of your rental.
• If you prepaid for your reservation, please bring the same credit card you used for payment.
• If you’re using a Europcar prepaid voucher, you must also present a credit card for the deposit and any charges not covered by the voucher.

For Additional Drivers:

• The same documents will be required for any additional drivers listed on your rental agreement.
