Our Partnership with the Shell Network for electric vehicle charging
To charge your electric vehicle at a public charging station, we offer a no-subscription, pay-as-you-go solution through our partner Shell Recharge.
You can easily register by downloading the Shell Recharge app.
The app allows you to create an account and enter your payment details by providing:
- Your email address
- Your bank information
- Your card number directly in the app
Once your personal details are entered, a Shell Recharge RFID card can be provided by our staff when you pick up your rental car. The RFID card lets you identify yourself at the charging station.
All the details and steps will be clearly explained before your rental begins.
Charging Stations
Shell’s network spans all across Europe. The app helps you locate the nearest station, see available chargers, check charging power, and view the estimated charging time.
Shell partnership is only available in Europe. For Australia and New Zealand, there is a partnership with Plugshare.
Pricing
Fast-charging rates vary based on the charging power and the country you’re in. You’ll find up-to-date pricing information directly in the app.
There is no subscription required to access the service.
Please note: Tesla Superchargers are not included in this network.
Invoices
The app will allow you to retrieve your charging invoice based on the amount directly charged to your account. If need be you can request an invoice copy to the Shell Customer Service (see App FAQ in order to proceed).
