What should I do if I am delayed in picking up my rental car?
Returning the Vehicle After Hours
You can return your vehicle outside of regular branch opening hours using the key return box, if available. Before doing so, please ensure that the location offers this service. Look for the “Return 24/7” mentioned in the branch description under the regular opening hours.
Please note that a fee per rental applies when using the key return box. You will remain responsible for the vehicle until our staff can check it during station opening hours on the following day.
Picking Up the Vehicle After Hours
If you need to pick up your vehicle outside of regular branch hours, this service may be available at select locations and could require an advance booking. Look for the “Pick-up during closing hours” mentioned in the branch description under regular opening hours.
Please note that an out-of-hours collection charge may apply. We recommend checking the vehicle carefully against the condition report provided at pick-up and reporting any damage as soon as the branch reopens, or following the instructions in your rental documents.
Delayed flight
If your pick-up is linked to a delayed flight and your branch is at the airport, we may be able to accommodate the delay if your flight reference is included in your reservation.
