What is myEuropcar?
myEuropcar is the vehicle subscription service created by Europcar. You can subscribe to your myEuropcar Vehicle without agreeing in advance on a specific return date, you just need to select a category of vehicle, determine the minimum term (1 to 3 months) and confirm your subscription with a few clicks. Afterwards, your subscription will run for as long as you need (up to 12 months).
Booking and Pickup
Who is allowed to drive the myEuropcar Vehicle?
The subscriber and the additional driver registered in the subscription are allowed to drive the myEuropcar Vehicle. If you wish to add more additional drivers, you can do so during the booking process.
Who can be added as an additional driver?
Just like the subscriber, an additional driver must meet the requirements in the Terms and Conditions.
Are there age restrictions for myEuropcar Subscriptions?
The minimum age for completing a myEuropcar Subscription is 25 years.
Once my booking is completed, how long do I have to wait before picking up the myEuropcar Vehicle?

A lead time of at least 5 days is required after completing your booking before picking up your myEuropcar vehicle.
Can I choose to extend the subscription after the initial minimum term?
Yes, the subscription will be automatically extended until you cancel your subscription - up to 12 months.
Will I get the vehicle that I have booked?
You book a category of vehicle that includes several vehicles that are comparable. We cannot give you the guarantee of a specific brand or model. Some examples of vehicle models in a particular category are displayed when you select that category.
Vehicles
Can I bring pets inside myEuropcar Vehicles?
Yes. Accredited and trained assistance animals may always be carried. Pets and/or animals kept at home can also be transported if they are in appropriate pet crates. Please make sure that it does not cause any damage, leave any dirty mark or requires the vehicle to additional cleaning, in order to avoid additional cleaning fees.
Can I smoke in a myEuropcar Vehicle?
It is strictly forbidden to smoke inside our myEuropcar Vehicles. This rule applies to cigarettes, cigars, pipes and electronic cigarettes. Please comply with those rules in order to avoid additional fees when returning the myEuropcar Vehicle.
Can I change the category of vehicle during my subscription?
No, you cannot change the category of vehicle during your subscription and as such, it is not possible to change over during the duration of the contract. If you need a vehicle of another size, you can terminate your current subscription, taking into account the cancellation period and take out a new one.
Will I get the vehicle that is shown in the booking process?
You will get a vehicle in the category you have selected. The vehicles displayed are examples of the selected category. If you do not find the category of vehicle of your choice, do not hesitate to check back later. myEuropcar is a new program and the offer is constantly evolving.

Are there any other costs aside from the monthly price for the myEuropcar Vehicle?
Additional fees outside of the monthly price include:
If you have travelled more miles than what is allowed in your subscription plan, or if you have not returned your myEuropcar Vehicle with a full tank of fuel. If the vehicle is not returned in the same condition as rented additional charges such as the following could occur - cleaning, damages, unpaid tolls.
How much do I have to pay per month for the myEuropcar Vehicle?
The monthly price will depend on the vehicle as well as the minimum term and extra service you selected. The longer the minimum term, the lower the monthly price.
What are the means of payment allowed?
Payments are only accepted via a valid credit card. Company and corporate credit cards are not accepted.
When and how will I be billed?
The subscription to the myEuropcar Vehicle begins on the date of pick-up of the vehicle with the first payment due at the time of booking creation. Monthly payments will be automatically billed 10 days before the beginning of a new month, and you will be informed by email 2 days before your credit card is charged. The monthly fee consists of the basic package and any monthly additional services you have chosen.
What happens if my payment method is about to expire?
In the event of upcoming expiration, please update your payment information. You will receive a weekly reminder to update your payment information three weeks before the card expires. In these emails, you will find a link that will enable you to update your information online.
Do I have to pay for a deposit?
A $500 deposit will be charged on your credit card for your myEuropcar Vehicle. We will refund it as soon as all the other amounts due to Europcar are settled. It will be done at the latest 15 days after the return of the myEuropcar Vehicle.
Cancellation and Return
Can I return the myEuropcar Vehicle at any Europcar station?
No. The station where you picked up the myEuropcar Vehicle is also the one where you need to return it to at the end of your subscription.
How can I return the myEuropcar Vehicle?
To return your myEuropcar Vehicle, you have to terminate your subscription by clicking on the link included in your monthly payment notification. It will open a form that already has all the details for your return, all you need to do is select the return date. Please do not forget to return your myEuropcar Vehicle with a full tank if you did not select pre-paid fuel at the time of booking.
How do I terminate my subscription?
In each monthly payment notification that you receive by email, you will find a link that will enable you to unsubscribe to your subscription, all you need to do is select a new return date.
Can I cancel my subscription plan before picking up a myEuropcar Vehicle?
You can cancel your subscription plan without any cost up to 14 days before the pick-up date.
However, if you cancel your subscription within the 14-day period before the pick-up date, you will be charged with a $250 cancellation fee and if you cancel after the contractually agreed vehicle availability date, the subscription can no longer be cancelled.
Extras
How can I declare the number of miles traveled during the month?
You will be sent an email asking you to declare the number of miles you have driven.
Can I choose a larger package in terms of mileage?
Your subscription includes 1,000 miles per month. If you need more miles, you can add up to 5 booster packages during the booking process. Each package includes 500 additional miles per month.
Please remember that you can only add additional packages during the booking process.
