Driving on a sustainable path
Europcar Mobility Group joined the Science-Based Targets initiative in 2019, becoming the first mobility services provider to have its carbon-reduction targets validated under this initiative. The Group committed to reducing direct emissions by 46.2% and indirect emissions by 27.5% by 2030, compared with the 2019 baseline year.
This ambition is supported by a fleet electrification strategy aiming for 20% of the fleet to be “green” vehicles (less than 50 g CO₂/km) by the end of 2024.
