Age :

Minimum 21 years.

Additional Driver :

With the consent of the renter, the vehicle may be driven by other persons. Conditions and possible charge available from Europcar Reservation Office.

Driving licence :

Held for at least one year.

 

You must hold and produce a driving license valid in Dubai, UAE. The driving license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 12 months before the date of the commencement of the rental. In addition to the normal driving license, an international driving license is also mandatory if the driving license is written in a language different to the one of the renting country and/or in characters that can not be read in the renting country. Please note that the international driving license is valid only if accompanied by the normal driving license. Detailed Information available from Europcar Dubai Reservation Office.

 

Prerequisites : What do you need in order to rent a Vehicle?

1. At the time of rental customer should present a valid original passport along with Valid Visa page, No identity cards accepted for UAE or GCC clients.
2. You must produce a valid credit card with an expiry date after the due check-in date or a valid Europcar charge card at pick up time. If you use a Europcar prepaid voucher as means of payment (with a Full Credit, Specified value or the mention 'Group & Days apply'), you must also present your own credit card for those charges that have not been prepaid (such as extras, Traffic Fine, Salik Toll charges, refueling charge, excess due in the event of damage to or loss of the rented vehicle). For Payment thru Full Credit Voucher please note Traffic Fines are charged on customers own credit card.
3. Valid Driving License as stated above.

Cash Rental deposit :

No Cash Rentals accepted. A valid Credit Card is a must.

Credit Cards Accepted :

American Express, Diners Club, Master Card, Visa.

Insurances :

Rates Include Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) with Excess Liability, Optional Super Collision Damage Waiver (SCDW) can be purchased to reduce the Excess Liability to Zero, Charges may vary by car group, Optional Personal Accident Insurance (P.A.I) is available at Europcar Reservation Office.

Delivery / Collection

Available Within City limits. Possible charge available from Europcar Dubai Reservation Office.

One-Way Rentals :

A) Domestic : Available between Europcar stations.

Extra charge for Drop Off cars at Airport = AED 30.

B) International : Not available. Please note our Cars cannot be driven to OMAN.

Other Services :

Child Seat Baby, Child Seat Infant, Navigation System on request.

Restriction Of Use :

As per the Traffic Law in UAE (DUBAI) RENT A CAR COMPANIES cannot rent vehicles to Persons holding Visit, Transit or Tourism VISAS  unless they are holding valid International Driving License supported with their Local Driving License .The issuing country of the Valid International Driving License has to be the same as the Visa or Passport.  As per a Government communiqué, sent by the tourist department, 25 countries are now allowed to drive in Dubai with their local driving license : GB, USA, FR, JP, BE, NL, CH, DK, DE, IT, SE, GR, AT, IE, ES, NO, TR, CA, PL, FI, ZA, AU, NZ, RO, & the Republic of Korea. However Countries such as GREECE, TURKEY, CANADA, JAPAN, & SOUTH KOREAN requires a translation of the LICENSE from the Embassy or Consulate.
